First and
most important is to Keep
It Fun!
To enjoy our dogs with old friends, and to
make new friends. We want to raise dogs
that can get the job done on the farm, and
take you to the winners circle at the trials. |

Sander was an extraordinary,
once-in-a-lifetime dog. Some people refer to those as “heart
dogs,” to denote the special bond that exists between the
dog and its human. I thought of him and referred to him as
my companion. A dog-owning friend once told me that the word
“companion” comes from Latin words that translate into “to
share bread,” |
